Forgotten Heroines of Two World Wars
As of August 3rd 2024, the Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland, Federation Director, Lindsay Green and the Board of SIGBI would like to confirm its definite support for the Canary Girls Memorial Project and are in full agreement that there should be a memorial honouring these women in the National Memorial Arboretum!
Sandra has been working on a book that will be ready for purchase in November 2025.
"The Munitionettes" focuses on the lives of a special group of women and girls in the lead-up to and during the First World War."
Speakers available to give presentations to most types of clubs and societies in the Suffolk and Essex area as well as Cumbria, Lancashire, the North East and other parts of the Country.
